I like them and think some of them are really cute. They are like Borscht in the grocery aisle to keep going with the grocery analogy. Borscht is weird pink soup made from beets. I don't think about it much when I don't have it. But it's actually damn good for pink soup. If a bowl is in front of me I'm going to eat it. But I don't want to eat it every day for the rest of my life or have a refrigerator full of pink soup so I'm not going to Borscht. I think bi people fall in to 3 groups. People who don't care that much about gender and are open to the possibilities ( I'm guessing this would be Shy and Apeshit ). People who tend to prefer one gender ( this might be Power Action, Bittersweet, NotQuiteBiGuy and myself) and people who like having both genders in their lives and no reason not to (maybe Hypercoma). Of those 3 groups I think the last would probably be happiest in polyamorous relationships. Sorry to use people as examples. Maybe Mood and GilbertAzWoman would be people who fell in with a specific person and that overrides issues of gender.
